A Lebanese And Greek Wedding With A Unique Backdrop

Maria and Solomon have been high school sweethearts and have been inseparable ever since. The two met through Maria’s cousin who is best friends is Solomon and the rest was history.

The sweet couple surprised each other the morning of their wedding while they were preparing for their special day. “I had organised for one of the groomsmen to place a box on Solomon’s bed. The box read, ‘to my groom on our wedding day,’ and inside were little gifts. I gave him his shoes, a bottle of King George V scotch, and a personalised book of what I love the most about him. He also did the same, but he gave me a Gucci bag that I had wanted for ages, my wedding perfume, garter and a love letter.”

The two tied the knot at the Greek Orthodox Church of St George and started their happily ever after at The Greek Club in the heart of Brisbane.

Their wedding was a celebration of love, culture and traditions. The couple went for a classic white and gold colour theme for their wedding reception adorned with thousands of lit candles, giving that dreamy ambience. Featuring a luxe flower wall hire, personalised touches including a custom dance floor, stage creations and breathtaking floral arrangements, this wedding certainly ticked all the right boxes.

“Our background was custom made and we had white flooring with a monogram. The floor reflected our chandeliers and the small touch of candles at the base of the bridal table added so much warm light, which created the perfect mood and ambience.”

The couple’s favourite quote perfectly sums up their relationship; “marriage is sharing life with your best friend, enjoying the journey along the way and arriving at every destination…together”.
