A Heavenly Beachfront Wedding

Niko proposed to Gretel at their special place; the beach of Double Island Point! As per usual, Nikos set up his drone to film the sunrise, but suddenly turned it around to face them. Instead, he got down on one knee!

The Wedding

“It had been forecasted to thunderstorm on the day of the wedding, but that morning my maid of honour came sprinting into my room and woke me up showing me a picture of the sunrise and of how clear the sky was. We were so excited!!! From that moment on, to the moment I went to sleep that night was by far the best day of my life. Everything went perfectly, almost too perfectly that I was worried something ought to go wrong.
I didn’t stop smiling all day, we felt so blessed having everyone we loved in the same room celebrating our love. In the lead-up to the 4pm ceremony I kept looking at my bridesmaids and family and pinching myself – I felt I had struck gold with the world’s most incredibly supportive and loving people ever. The day was fun, calm and we were all ready with plenty of time to soak up the moment and take some final photos before we headed off.
The moment I saw Niko I couldn’t help but break down crying, he is the man of my dreams and I felt like the most blessed girl in the world to get to be his wife. We wrote our own vows and had our brothers and sisters read poems and readings during the ceremony. Our nephews and nieces were also there, which was the best.
We had the world’s best suppliers on the day that made the whole day run so smoothly – they were just amazing! I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat they truly made our day what it was! The most special day of our lives to date!”
