A Gorgeous Wedding In The Museum Of Contemporary Art

Nichole and George’s wedding was a dream come true for the couple!

The two tied the knot in the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australiaand held their reception at the Museum of Contemporary Art, The Foundation Hall.

Nichole’s bridal dress was a beautiful Paolo Sebastian champagne gown with gold beaded embellishments, custom made by Paul Vasileff. Nichole was inspired by Paolo Sebastian’s Disney Collection and together with Paul’s magic, they created the perfect gown.

“Disney was a huge part of my life growing up (I used to sing Disney songs to my grandmother when I was young) so the dress had huge sentimental value. It was inspired by Belle from Beauty and the Beast – especially the cross draped back,” explains Nichole.

And the magic was certainly present from the day till the night throughout the couple’s special day. The reception was adorned with pillar candles, soft pastel pink florals and lush greenery to give an enchanted forest vibe, just like in the movies. The gorgeous green marble and art-deco vibes gave a dreamy ambiance to the couple’s wedding. The marble pillars, floors and mirrors were such a luxurious focal point of the reception giving an antique style to the decor.

Nichole’s bridesmaids dresses were off-the-shoulder, simple and dark forest green gowns which tied in perfectly with the reception setting. Each bridesmaid wore a different pair of Christie Nicoladesearrings to bring a bit of individuality to life to each girl in Nichole’s bridal squad.

The couple’s wedding fused Nichole’s combined nationality in the wedding favours, sugar coated almonds to represent her Greek heritage mixed with hand decorated Fortune Cookies to represent Nichole’s Chinese heritage.

Nichole and George decided to have not one but four different wedding cakes made by the incredible Andy Bowdy, taking inspiration from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Royal Wedding.

And to top this night off, the couple’s wedding guests were treated with a McDonald’s delivery which included over 300 cheeseburgers and nuggets. “There is nothing more satisfying than a sneaky cheeseburger at 12am!” exclaims Nichole.

Congratulations to Nichole and George!
