A COLOURFUL AND VIBRANT NEW ZEALAND WEDDING

Neha and Zoheb’s journey to the altar all began on a private island resort in Fiji where Zoheb had planned an intimate get-away for the two.

“As I was relaxing and enjoying our beautiful villa, a lady comes up to me and told me to follow her to the spa, I had no clue about the proposal as Zo has always been full of surprises. He had booked me in a for a body massage. When I returned to the villa, there were two of the same Sass & Bide dresses in Navy &  White, with a letter saying“Take your pick..Hope you like it..Call reception when you are ready.” A staff member then drove me to the spa where I see Zo all dressed up standing by a beautiful private dinner set up with an amazing view. My jaw dropped! While having Champagne and cheeses we casually spoke and I said to him.. “I am seriously the happiest person right now” and that was the moment he went down on his knees and asked me to marry him!” So dreamy!

As they both live in Fiji they knew they wanted a destination Wedding and decided New Zealand was the perfect location, where they held two special events in Hawkes Bay, an Indian themed event the night before the wedding, then their wedding ceremony and reception the  next day.  The Indian Night was full of  vivid colours, loud music, Bollywood glamour and joyful dancing, and it definitely looked like a party we all wanted to be invited to! For the Wedding the natural surroundings took centre stage, with creams, blush, and soft pinks adorning the space.

Reflecting back on their Wedding, the couple told Wedded Wonderland the small personalised details made their Wedding unique and special, from the personalised wedding aisle with their wedding logo,  to the printed linen bags with  “Throw me- Neha & Zoheb” ,filled with white fresh rose petals to be thrown by the guests as the couple  walked out as Husband and Wife.

Bride Neha told Wedded Wonderland, although the Wedding was perfect in every way possible, the one thing she wished she knew before she started her wedding plans was how hard it was transporting things down from Auckland to Hawkes Bay!

Be inspired by this jaw-dropping Wedding, Fairies!
