Kristala and George’s proposal was something out of a movie scene! George went down on one knee and popped the question at the end of a Gondola ride in one of the world’s most romantic cities, Venice. The most memorable highlight of their trip!
The couple’s wedding was everything they ever dreamed of. Kristala and George were surrounded by their supportive families and closest friends to witness their special union. The couple tied the knot at The Greek Orthodox Church of Saint George and followed their celebration at The Greek Club.
One of Kristala’s most memorable moments of her special day was walking down the aisle with her father which was a very emotional and exciting time; “I had tears of love for my parents and tears of pure joy and happiness rushing down my face seeing George standing at the altar”, explains the bride.
The couple’s wedding theme was simply elegant which was paired together with a white and gold colour scheme. White floral arrangements with lush greenery brought a classic touch to the reception venue.
Kristala and George decided to add a personal touch to their wedding, incorporating olive trees as their favours. The olive tree was symbolic to the couple, representing their love growing stronger and George’s love of plants as well as his Greek culture. They also included personalised chocolate place cards for each guest to represent Kristala’s love of chocolate! George wore his late grandfather’s gold cufflinks on the wedding day, adding a sentimental touch to the day.
