  • Where is it? Mall of the Emirates, Al Barsha. Approximately a 13-minute drive from Downtown Dubai. 
  • When is the best time to go? Year-round
  • Are there group packages available? Yes, there are a variety of packages for different activities and group sizes. 
  • Is there a minimum age requirement? Yes, children must be at least two years old. 
  • How much time is needed to see it? Half-day to full-day.

2. Dubai Mall

Home to 1,200 retailers across electronics, fashion and beauty, homewares, dining venues and entertainment, Dubai Mall is a must-see shopping experience with something for every one of your wedding guests. 

  • Where is it? Downtown Dubai 
  • When is the best time to go? Year-round
  • What are the opening hours? Monday to Thursday: 10 am – midnight. Friday to Sunday: 10 am – 1 am 
  • How much time is needed to see it? Two hours to half a day.

3. Museum Of The Future

An architectural marvel wrapped in the poetry of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, this building offers visitors a look at the future of Dubai. 

  • Where is it? A ten-minute drive from Downtown Dubai
  • When is the best time to go? Weekday mornings for a quiet visit; November to early December, or the first half of March 
  • Do you need to pre-book? No, you can purchase a ticket upon entry, but it is recommended that you pre-book online as tickets can sell out. 
  • Do they take group bookings? Yes, group bookings are available
  • How much time is needed to see it? Three hours to half-a-day

4. Sky Views Dubai

Get a bird’s eye view of Dubai at one of the city’s latest attractions, Sky Views Dubai. Offering a unique 360 degree experience from 219.5 meters above Downtown, choose to visit The observatory, trek along the Edge Walk or ride on a glass slide between levels 52 and 53! 

  • Where is it? Address Sky View Hotel, Downtown Dubai
  • When is the best time to go? Weekday mornings from 10:30pm to 3pm, or nights from 7pm to 9pm. The best time for views is from November to March.
  • Do you need to pre-book? Yes, you need to pre-book online. 
  • Do they take group bookings? Yes, you can visit in groups between ages 12 to 65.
  • How much time is needed to see it? Approximately 90 minutes.

5. Global Village

Combining over 90 cultures from around the world in one place, Global Village offers a one-of-a-kind experience for guests of all ages to immerse themselves in a multicultural feast for the senses. 

  • Where is it? A 25 minute drive from Downtown Dubai 
  • When is the best time to go? After sunset
  • Is it open all year round? No, it is only open in the cooler winter months. As the opening period changes each year, it is advised to check the website for updates before visiting. 
  • Do you need a booking to enter? No, you can purchase a ticket upon entry, but it is recommended that you pre-book online to avoid long queues. 
  • How much time is needed to see it? Three hours plus

6. Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo

A guaranteed winner amongst your little loves, the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is home to over 140 species of aquatic life and offers a range of experiences including animal encounters and dives.

  • When is the best time to go? Weekday mornings offer a quieter visit: from November to March

  • How much time is needed to see it? Two or three hours

7. Dubai Ice Rink

Conveniently located in Dubai Mall, skate the day away at this indoor ice rink. For an exclusive morning or afternoon spent with your nearest and dearest, you can even rent out the rink entirely. 

  • Where is it? The ground floor of Dubai Mall
  • When is the best time to go? 10 am to 11:30 am, and 11:45 am to 3:15 pm 
  • Do you need to pre-book? No, you can purchase a ticket upon entry, but it is recommended that you pre-book online to avoid long queues. 
  • Do they take group bookings? Yes, group bookings are available. Groups of 25 people or more can receive a discount of 20% more. 
  • How much time is needed to see it? 90 minutes

8. The Dubai Fountain

One of the city’s most renowned landmarks and the world’s tallest performing fountain shooting up to 140 meters. The Dubai Fountain captivates with a total water, music and light spectacle. 

  • Where is it? Downtown Dubai, in front of Dubai Mall 
  • When is the best time to go? At sunset and night-time 
  • Does it run all day? Daily evening shows run from 6 pm to 11 pm, with 30 minutes between each show. Extra lunchtime performances may be added seasonally and run from 1 pm to 1:30 pm or 1:30 pm to 2 pm.
  • How much time is needed to see it? Each show goes on for approximately five minutes
  • Where is the best viewing location? From the waterfront promenade in front of Dubai Mall

9. Desert Safari

A must-do on any Dubai itinerary, take your wedding party out on the adventure of a lifetime on a safari through the dunes of the Dubai desert. 

  • Where is it? 40-minute drive from Downtown Dubai 
  • When is the best time to go? Afternoons are quietest; from November to March 
  • Do you need to pre-book? It is recommended that you pre-book online as tickets tend to sell out in advance
