Bridal party trends are all about personality this year; say goodbye to boring dresses your besties only pretend to like.
Let’s be real, your bridal party isn’t just there to stand beside you. They’re your hype crew, your emergency glam team, your tissue-passers, and your walk-down-the-aisle emotional support system. Naturally, they deserve to look amazing while doing all that.
Bridesmaid fashion isn’t what it used to be anymore, gone are the days of identical chiffon dresses and awkward color choices you’ll never wear again. In 2025, bridal party style is evolving with the times and that means more individuality, bold color palettes, and silhouettes that actually serve.
We asked Bessy Mouzourakis, Director of White Runway, to break down what’s trending in bridesmaid fashion right now. Here are the 6 bridesmaid fashion trends to have on your radar.
1. Mismatched Dresses Are Still the Moment

Gone are the days of copy-paste bridesmaid looks. In 2025, it’s all about embracing individuality—while keeping things cohesive.
“Brides are wanting their besties to feel confident in their dresses and are letting the girls choose individualised styles while still complimenting the overall wedding theme,” says Bessy.
Think: same color and fabric, but with totally different necklines, sleeves, and vibes. Because your friends aren’t clones, and your bridal party shouldn’t look like it either.
2. Goodbye Beige, Hello Bold

Neutral tones may be timeless, but 2025 is turning the volume way up on color. Brides are leaning into rich, fashion-forward shades like chocolate, rust, dark emerald, and even pale yellow.
“Chocolate is top of our request list this year! Followed by lemon – everyone references Andy’s dress in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,” Bessy shares.
These colors pop in photos, feel luxurious in satin, and actually look good on multiple skin tones. Win-win.
3. Bring the Drama with Sculptural Silhouettes

Minimalist bridesmaid dresses? Bessy says, “not anymore.”
“They want their bridesmaids to be glam as they walk down the aisle,” she explains. “Think structured silhouettes, statement necklines, dramatic sleeves, and sexy cowl backs.”
So yes, you can finally fulfill your fashion week dreams at your best friend’s wedding. Thank you, 2025.
4. Chill or Chic? It’s All About the Venue Vibe

Whether the bridal party is rocking slinky slip dresses or full-on fashion moments really depends on where the wedding is happening.
“We’re seeing a balance of both. The venue choice and couple’s vibe are the biggest determinant in how formal or relaxed a wedding will be,” Bessy says.
So if the ceremony’s at a beach bar? Go breezy. If it’s a historic city hall or moody wine bar? Amp up the sophistication.
5. Fit First, Aesthetic Second

You might be tempted to go Pinterest-board-perfect when choosing dresses, but don’t skip comfort.
“Dress comfort should be a priority – ensure the dress is easy to move and dance in!” Bessy says. “Try everything on as a group to make sure everyone suits the design and is happy. And always keep an open mind.”
Also, don’t try to force a match between the bridal gown and the bridesmaid dresses. Instead, think complementary. If the bride’s dress is super modern, the bridesmaids shouldn’t be vintage-inspired (unless that’s the aesthetic).
6. What’s Next? Big Texture and Teal

Looking ahead to 2026 (yes, we’re thinking that far), expect bridal party fashion to go maximalist.
“Volume, texture, and structure – think big bold sleeves, 3D ruffles and designs that resemble art,” says Bessy.
Also, keep an eye out for teal. With Pantone predicting “transformative teal” as the next color obsession, don’t be surprised if bridal parties start bringing that moody blue-green energy down the aisle.
2025 is all about celebrating individuality and style in the bridal party. With so many trends to mix, match, and make your own, there’s no reason your bridesmaids can’t look just as unforgettable as the bride herself.
