UPDATE: Congratulations are in order for Seven Year Switch couple, Cassie and Ryan who have just welcomed a little baby girl into the world!
Over the past year, this couple have experienced a roller-coaster relationship and went on controversial Channel 7 program Seven Year Switch in a last-ditch attempt at saving their Marriage. The pair made it through the ‘experiment’ which had them partner-swapping and living with someone else – and they say their relationship has never been better!
Cassie found out she was pregnant just before filming for the show started and it was TV’s worst kept secret throughout the series, with producers attempting to hide Cassie <very obvious> baby bump.
However, just today, Cassie and Ryan announced they’ve given birth to a little girl, named Mena Lee, but it doesn’t sound like the birth was easy, with the couple posting on Instagram,
“Mena made quite the entrance and spent a short time in special care, keeping in trend with her siblings and scared her Mumma and Dadda, however is doing extremely well and we hope to have her home shortly!”
This will be the third daughter for Cassie (who has 9-year old Ramani from a previous relationship and 18-month old daughter Emmerson with Ryan) and we bet they’re all excited to welcome their newest addition!

MAY 4: It’s been labelled the ‘worst show on TV’, ‘immoral’ and ‘a waste of time’, but in last night’s episode of Channel 7’s The Seven Year Switch, the sick, crazy experiment (which involves troubled couples’ partner-swapping to see if they cheat fall back in love with their original partner) seems to have worked with one of the contestants displaying a VERY obvious baby bump.
It’s probably the worst kept secret in reality-show history and we’ve seen it coming from a mile away (remember this beach scene?), but Cassie is expecting a bub and although it hasn’t been confirmed, we assume it’s with her husband Ryan (relax, it’s not with her experimental partner Jason).
Adding further fuel to the flame is some Facebook chatter after someone spotted Cassie and Ryan at their local Robina shopping centre over Easter with a newborn!
We don’t know how, but it seems the show has helped at least one of the couples!
