Normally, we’re quite open when it comes to weird and wonderful Wedding trends, because we love it when couples find quirky ways to inject their personality into the Big Day.
However, this latest trend which has couples being vacuum packed for ‘artistic’ pre-Wedding photos has got to be one of the worst (and most dangerous) we’ve seen.
Haruhiko Kawaguchi ‘cling wraps’ couples and encourages them to wear what they like in the photos. Some choose to go completely naked (and position themselves in the foetal position), while others choose to dress-up as gangsters (no judgement).
The one thing all the couples have in common is that they’re willing to risk their lives for a good pic.
If you’re wondering how on earth this works, here’s your answer. Haruhiko helps the couple hop into a vacuum bag before they position themselves into the pose they want. Once they’re in place, he gets a vacuum cleaner (like the one in your laundry closet) and sucks all of the air out of the bag. From then, Haruhiko has about ten seconds to take the perfect shot (BECAUSE THERE’S NO AIR IN THE BAG!) before his assistant quickly slices open the bag so the couple can take a breath.
We are getting a bit panicky just thinking about it. Would you risk your life to get a pre-Wedding photo like this?
