Wedded World
Terms that apply to the USD $1,000 Expression of Interest deposit for participation in upcoming Wedded World editions.
To secure priority access and consideration for participation in the Event, applicants are required to submit a refundable Expression of Interest (EOI) deposit of USD $1,000.
As the Event date, venue, and final participation details have not yet been confirmed, the following terms apply.
The EOI deposit is fully refundable until the official Event Announcement is made, being the date on which the Event location, dates, and participation packages are formally released.
Applicants may request a refund at any time before the Event Announcement by submitting a written request to the Organiser.
Following the Event Announcement, all EOI holders will be notified and provided with a confirmation period of fourteen (14) days to:
If no refund request is received within the confirmation period, the EOI deposit will automatically be applied as a credit towards the participant's booking and become subject to the Event's standard booking terms and conditions.
Upon confirmation of participation, the USD $1,000 EOI deposit will be deducted from the total amount payable for the selected package, sponsorship, exhibition space, or participation option.
The deposit is not an additional fee and forms part of the final purchase price.
Approved refunds will be processed within thirty (30) business days of approval.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method wherever possible.
The Organiser is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment providers, or international payment networks.
No administrative fees will be charged for refunds requested prior to the expiry of the confirmation period.
However, any non-refundable transaction fees, foreign exchange fees, bank charges, merchant processing fees, or payment gateway charges incurred by the Organiser may be deducted from the refund amount where permitted by law.
All deposits are collected and refunded in USD.
Where a participant pays or receives funds in another currency, exchange rates are determined by the participant's financial institution or payment provider.
The Organiser is not responsible for any gains, losses, fees, or currency fluctuations resulting from foreign exchange conversions.
Participants may request that their EOI deposit be transferred to a future event organised by the Organiser instead of receiving a refund.
Any transfer is subject to approval by the Organiser and may be applied as a credit towards a future event within twenty-four (24) months of the original payment date.
Unused credits after this period may expire unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If the Event is cancelled and not rescheduled, all EOI deposits will be refunded in full.
If the Event is postponed or rescheduled, participants may elect to:
The Organiser shall not be liable for delays, changes, postponements, or cancellation of the Event resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, public health emergencies, travel restrictions, labour disputes, civil unrest, terrorism, war, utility failures, venue unavailability, or other force majeure events.
In such circumstances, the Organiser may, at its discretion:
The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Event date, location, venue, format, program, speakers, exhibitors, sponsorship opportunities, or participation packages at any time prior to the Event.
Where a material change occurs before a participant confirms their booking, the participant may request a full refund during the applicable confirmation period.
By submitting an EOI deposit, the participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this EOI Deposit & Refund Policy.
