Pippa Middleton and her financier husband James Matthews are set to tie the knot in May 2017 and we couldn’t be more excited for what is set to be the closest thing to a Royal Wedding!
However, the Duchess of Cambridge may not be the Maid of Honour nor Bridesmaid to her sister, as she is anxious not to upstage Pippa on her Big Day.
Speaking with People Magazine, royal author Judy Wade said, ‘Kate would upstage her sister. It’s a tricky situation for Pippa. She would want her sister by her side, as who else would she trust to make things go well?’ ‘But if your sister is a future Queen, she is going to upstage the bride and draw attention. Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible.’
There have been reports that Pippa’s Wedding ring is believed to have been made by Robinson Pelham, the same designer who made the earrings that Kate wore on her wedding day. A source told People, “Pippa’s fiance would never have bought something off-the-peg for her, it had to be very special.” The ring is estimated to be worth more than $250,000.
We wonder who she’s chosen to design her special gown … Alexander McQueen perhaps? And will Prince George and Princess Charlotte serve as ring bearer and flower girl? #Naw
