Lucy Ferreira is an internationally recognised destination wedding planner and a leading ambassador for weddings in Oaxaca. Renowned for curating refined, culturally immersive celebrations, she has played a pivotal role in positioning Oaxaca as a global destination wedding hotspot for international couples, particularly from the United States, seeking meaningful, design-forward celebrations in Mexico. Luso-Venezuelan by heritage, Lucy is an architect by profession and holds a Master’s degree in Urban Design from Harvard University. Her journey into destination weddings began with her own celebration in Oaxaca in 2007, sparking a deep connection to the region’s culture, heritage and artistic richness.
