Annalise Dalins had two words embroidered on her hens veil, Mrs Daicos. The Josh Daicos wedding is in November 2026, and that is as much as the couple will say.

She is due to marry the Collingwood footballer, older brother of AFL star Nick Daicos, Nine reports.
Her hens weekend, or bachelorette, came first, in the seaside town of Sorrento on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. Then she posted the photos on Instagram with a three-word caption: “Mrs Daicos incoming …”
Since then, the countdown has been told in outfits.
November 2026 is as far as they will go. Not the date, not the venue, not the guest list.
He proposed in Greece in September 2024, then posted: “The happiest day of our lives / My girl for a lifetime ❤️”.
The engagement has run two years, with one pause. At Australian Fashion Week in 2025 they said they had put their plans on hold, and Dalins explained why.
“We realised there’s a lot that goes into a wedding and we’re in no rush,” she said at the time, as the Daily Mail later recalled.
By September the mood had changed. “You have moments where you really pinch yourself,” she told Nine in September. “To now get married is really meaningful.”
Now it is a matter of weeks.
Annalise Dalins is a 25-year-old model whose Brownlow red carpet looks have had people talking for about five years. In September she wore a gown by Melbourne couture house Alin Le’Kal with about A$1 million of Temelli diamonds.
She and Josh had talked on Instagram before they met in person. “I’d spoken to Anna before on Instagram, but we randomly met one night,” he said. That was in a bar, about five years ago.
In a February Stellar interview shared on Instagram, she called Josh her “HAB”, husband and boyfriend, “because he shows up for me as much as I show up for him”.
And Josh? He is 27 and plays Australian rules football for Collingwood, the AFL club his father, Peter Daicos, also played for. His brother Nick won the 2026 Brownlow Medal.
The Herald Sun placed the hens in Sorrento the weekend before Derby Day.
Greek City Times reported the rest of the weekend.
There was a winery visit, a private Pilates class and a luxury coach with its own cocktail bar. The theme was red. Yoga pants and jeans carried “Mrs Daicos” across the back.
Brooke Warne, daughter of the late cricketer Shane Warne, was among the friends. “The most special weekend celebrating our special bride to be,” she posted. “Bring on the wedding.”
For the photos, Dalins wore a lace and boned midi by bridal label Kyha, which is reported at A$5,900. Her short veil carried the embroidery, and her caption credits Temelli for the jewellery.
The next day brought a second set of photos and a playful caption: “A little spice, before she’s a wife ❤️”. She signed off with thanks to “the most beautiful friends a girl could ask for”.
The hens ran on red, with the bride in lace. At Flemington, she went all white.
Derby Day, a spring carnival race day at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse, fell on 31 October. Dalins went as an ambassador for Crown, the Melbourne resort, and said it was “one of my final events before the wedding”.
The day’s dress code is traditionally black and white. She chose white, and her own post credits the look: “Dressed by @alinlekal”, with Temelli jewellery and Lana Wilkinson shoes.
The Herald Sun’s morning preview had named Effie Kats. Her own credits, and The Age’s CBD column, say Alin Le’Kal.
“I wanted to be comfortable, but still getting the white theme going on for me,” she said.
The next day she posted a photo with Cold Shower, a racehorse she met at the track: “A special moment with Cold Shower, and a little courthouse bride inspiration for Derby Day 🖤🤍”.
Neither of them has mentioned a civil or courthouse ceremony.
Nick Daicos was at Flemington too. She planned to bring her future sister-in-law, Maddie Daicos, to the Crown marquee.
At Crown’s bar on Derby Day, Dalins said she and Josh were all organised for their “small and intimate” wedding.
Six weeks earlier, Josh had put it differently. “It’s just about getting everyone that we love together for the day and celebrating with them. We’re treating it as a big party.”
Dalins added: “We’ve just tried to keep the day super focused on what we love, our interests, and what reflects us.”
Neither of them has given a guest number. Until one of them does, take both at their word.
In May, Melbourne designer Sam Oglialoro, who made her viral 2025 Brownlow dress, said he would not be making any more gowns for her.
“We thought we were making a gown, but we don’t pay people to wear our gowns. That’s where I’m going to leave it,” he said.
“It’s her day. She’s allowed to do whatever she wants,” he added. “We haven’t had a bad word.”
Everything she has worn this spring is public, down to the slogan jeans. The wedding gown is the one piece still under wraps. No designer has been named for it, and Oglialoro has already ruled himself out.
All she has said is that it is “super sentimental”, something she will be happy to look back on.
