It seems like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s romance has been a whirlwind, with most of us thinking the royal rush would calm down after their highly anticipated nuptials. However, three days after their wedding was watched world-over, the duo were ready for their next event – Prince Charles‘ birthday celebrations. And while they’re now whisked away on their honeymoon, serious talk for baby Sussex is underway.
The newlyweds commented on their hopes to grow their family in their first interview together, post engagement announcement.Harry said, “No [not now], of course, you know, one step at a time. Hopefully we’ll start a family in the near future.” However reports from Us Weekly reveal that their desire for children has escalated since the wedding.
Now, “having children is definitely a priority,” says a source close to Meghan. “She and Harry want to start a family right away — and she’ll start trying as soon as she can.” Another source told Us Weekly, that even Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland is excited to have her first grandchild very soon.”Doria is expecting to be a grandmother by this time next year. She’s very excited for Meghan to become a mother.”
While they, “both can’t wait to start a family. [Still,] Harry and Meghan won’t rush into anything. They have a lot on their plate right now. But they both think that when the moment feels right, that will be the time to go for it. They’ll make fantastic parents.”
The couple is expected to return from their honeymoon in time for the Queen’s Trooping The Colour official birthday parade, while also heading to Australia for the Sydney Invictus Games. It is said that they are in for a very-busy rest of year with plenty of work engagements. So whether a pregnancy announcement will come in between all of that, we’ll just have to wait and see.
