Last night, Westfield Parramatta launched the 2016 Autumn/Winter Collection with the help of TV Stylist, Donny Galella and former Miss World Australia, Erin Holland at an event called ‘Design Your Destiny’. The exclusive runway show was attended by the city’s who’s who in blogging, fashion, styling and beauty including Lillian Khallouf, Diane Khoury, Melissa Sassine, Aaron Favaloro, George Elsissa, Natalie Nader, Noel Nassar and the Wedded Wonderland team.
Guests sat runway-side to catch all of the latest fashion and took notes of their favourite designs of the night. Khaki and burgundy hues, monochromatic dressing and pattern mixing were the strongest trends of the evening, with the ladies taking inspiration from stores including Sheike, Cue, Forever New, Piper Lane and Veronika Maine, while the gents were dressed in the likes of MJ Bale, SABA, Politix and Roger David.
The entire evening was inspired by the theme – Design Your Destiny – the idea that everyone can create their own story using the very accessible fashion and beauty looks available at Westfield Parramatta.
Keeping with the theme of the night, the talented Erin Holland serenaded us with the classic song Somewhere Over the Rainbow. After the show, guests were treated to cocktail, taco, salad and dessert bars. Each bar came packed full of delicious ingredients and everyone was invited to design their own personal treats using their favourite flavours.
Every guest left with a Design Your Destiny gift bag which was jam-packed with goodies from retailers at Westfield Parramatta.
