There’s nothing like a bride wearing a classic, traditional white wedding gown, but every now and then, we come across a colourful wedding gown that convinces us to be more daring – and this Marchesa floral wedding dress worn by bride Roxanne Conso is one of them.
New York based couple, Roxanne Conse and Romain Pavee got married in Mexico with a beachside ceremony. Roxanne wore a custom Marchesa gown with a low cut front and back, heavy lace detailing and appliqué florals in soft pinks and greens.
She spoke with Harper’s Bazaar US saying, “The appliqué florals. The lace. Each detail of my gown epitomized the natural beauty of Mexico and upon trying it on, I knew instantly that it was my dress. The talented team at Marchesa made my idea to wear a non-traditional, non-bridal gown a reality, and soon I was walking down the aisle to a solo Spanish guitarist in my absolute dream dress.”
Roxanne finished her look with a simple white veil, soft feminine makeup and loose beachy hair pulled back into a messy half bun.
