We can’t help but be shocked by what this Bride has just done!
A few weeks after user Puzzledandpissedoff, attended her ex colleague’s Wedding, she received a gob-smacking email from the Bride and Groom telling her that her $196 cheque was not an adequate amount of money.
The email read that the money, “didn’t seem to match the warmth of your good wishes on our big day,” and “in view of your own position, if you wanted to send any adjustment it would be thankfully received.”
There was also a reference to Puzzledandpissedoff’s recent inheritance to which the couple “maybe expected something from”.
After she received the email, Puzzledandpissedoff spoke with her bank to see whether the cheque had been cashed and found that the greedy couple had already taken the money.
The strongly worded email from the Bride and Groom closed with, “I assume this was some sort of mistake?”
Puzzledandpissedoff is asking for help – “Please, anyone, what do I do now? I’ve never come across anything like this before and still can’t quite believe they’ve done it – but since they have, should I reply, ring them, ignore it or what??
