THE TWO-WEEK BRIDAL TONE-UP

It happens to the best of us. You’re so caught up organising suppliers, bridesmaids and family members for your wedding that you forget about yourself.

So, it’s a fortnight before the big day and you’ve noticed your arms aren’t as defined as they should be (curse those strapless gowns), your looking bloated and you’ve got some cellulite that needs to be taken care of.

There’s still hope! We spoke with Violette from Her Fitness who’s put together the two-week bridal tone-up that will have you in tip-top shape for the walk down the aisle.

Exercise Program

To maximise your results, you should use a variety of cardio and resistance workouts. Not only does exercise impact your body shape, but it tightens the skin, creates muscle tone and stimulates your mood. Circuit-style high-intensity training is always the best way for busy brides to exercise as it’s quick and effective.

I recommend training 3 times a week in the fortnight leading up to the wedding date. This circuit only takes 30 minutes, but packs a punch when it comes to toning and fat burning. Spend 45 seconds at each station, then have a 15 second break before moving onto the next station. Repeat the circuit four times.
