Luke Blanock, a teenager from Pennsylvania with terminal cancer, married his high-school sweetheart, Natalie Britvich in a Wedding donated entirely by the community.
Simply being able to walk down the aisle was a huge achievement for Luke, who struggles to stand-up during his cancer battle. The former basketball player created a GoFundMe campaign to marry Natalie after he was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma. Tragically, the cancer is terminal.
Luke proposed to Natalie one month after he was initially diagnosed, saying “I’m not marrying Natalie to make her a widow. I’m marrying Natalie to spend 50 years with her. And that’s great. That’s how it should be.”
The 200-guest Wedding was pulled together in a month, no mean feat and we hear that there was not a dry eye in the house.
