What are you passionate about? What keeps you going?
I am most passionate about giving 150% to my brides when I’m doing their makeup and/or hair. I want all brides to feel and look the best they have ever felt and bring out their best features. I want my brides to look back at their photos in 10, 20, 30 years and beyond and still love the way they looked on their wedding day.
What is trending in weddings NOW and how are you translating that in your business and product offerings?
What I am seeing now is that brides don’t want the caked on makeup look. They want to look fresh, have a glow about their skin and look as naturally beautiful as they can be – less is more! To help we offer skin care consultations, skin care products, microdermabrasion and facials. We also offer custom eyebrow shaping (as a member of Brow Artists International).
Who is your ultimate celebrity bride for 2014 and why?
I would say Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Kim’s makeup looked fresh and she had a beautiful glow about her. The whole wedding package was lavish and romantic…..every bride’s dream. A lot of my brides are now requesting her makeup looks for their wedding but of course I tweak it to suit each individual bride.
