Once again, Jason James Design has floored us with his impeccable taste and elegant styling and for this baby shower, Jason collaborated with Natalie Longheon from Just Add Cream. Mum-to-be Deanna Perram briefed Jason and Natalie to turn The Grounds, Alexandria into a modern enchanted garden fit for the arrival of little princess, Audrey Isabella.
Guests entered a refined and fantastical wonderland filled with a palette of lotus flowers, roses, peonies, orchids and dahlias. Hanging vines were strewn throughout the floral installations, creating a rich backdrop of fresh green and lime tones and oversized balloons in all shades of pink brought frivolity and fun to the styling.
The table décor, which was customised and supplied by Jason James Design, included hand-dyed linen, delicate personalised watercolour menus and brass cutlery. Each rustic timber banquette table was further highlighted by baby blue classic bentwood chairs.
The cake was hand-painted in fuchsia, marsala and purple brushstrokes and was adorned with gold leaf appliques.
Each of the 50 guests left with an amaranth and jasmine scented candle which featured custom-branded ceramic tags with Audrey’s name inscribed. They also took home a mini cake box, lined with gold polka dot paper and filled with handmade cakes.
