Natural stunner and ultimate role-model Emma Watson was the clear and obvious choice when it came to casting a live-action Belle for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
First she stunned in the first look of the live-action Beauty and the Beast trailer and now she has gone from strength to strength with Disney releasing an exclusive first listen to Emma singing “Something There” – and she’s great!
When she was first cast Emma confessed to Total Film magazine in 2015 that she found the musical part “terrifying.”
“I sing, so that’s really unexpected,” she told the magazine, according to The Telegraph. “I’ve never had to do that for a film role before, and I think people will be interested to see me do something very different like that. It gives me a different challenge, really. That’s terrifying in and of itself!”
Well we think she has nothing to worry about, as it seems that her singing lessons have paid off! The movie with Dan Stevens, of Downton Abbey fame, as the Beast, will land in March.
