It was the news that broke our hearts only a couple of weeks ago, that Sam Frost and Sasha Mielczarek had split up after 18 months of dating.
In recent reports by New Idea however, it has been revealed by sources close to the couple that they actually broke up months ago. Reportedly the reason for the secrecy was due to contractual agreements with Network Ten that stated that Sam and Sasha couldn’t make any official announcements until 18 months after the show had wrapped, according to the magazine.
Since then The Daily Mail Australia have contacted Sam’s representative for comment, who strongly denied the claims as ‘rubbish’.
We don’t know who to believe, but New Idea’s sources always seen to pan out when it comes to breaking Bachelor news. Only time will tell.
Also, it was revealed that the brunette beauty that Sasha was seen hugging and spending time with over Christmas, was his long time friend Elisa Nolan.
Last week a friend of Elisa’s exclusively told Daily Mail Australia that their connection has been longstanding:
“Elisa’s been friends with him for years, but I don’t think it’s romantic. I think it’s more of a family friend’s connection,” the source said.
“She’s a lovely girl and I’d actually love to see her with Sasha (in time).”
