High school sweethearts Tricia and Phillip tied the knot on the picturesque island of Santorini, sharing their special, intimate day with their nearest and dearest.
Despite planning an elaborate proposal at Lake Tahoe with a photographer to capture the special moment, Phillip decided he couldn’t wait, and one day spontaneously hopped out of the shower in his wet towel, got down on one knee and proposed. Talk about a total surprise proposal – this was literally a ‘life decision made in the shower’ moment! Phill described the shock moment as an “out of body experience” and the couple were equally surprised and emotional.
Reflecting on one of the most special moments from the day, Tricia told Wedded Wonderland, “my favourite moment was when my now husband said his vows and gave a promise ring to my daughter. The wedding wasn’t only between my husband and I but with my daughter who he has made his own.” So sweet!
With all the love and joy in the air on their special day, the couple told Wedded Wonderland if they could change one thing about their special day, it would be to extend the length of their special day and start everything a few hours earlier to make the most of the celebrations.
