Real Wedding: This Roof-top Ceremony in Florida is Beautiful

The rooftop of the White Room, Saint Augustine Florida, accommodated for Chris and Brittany’s wedding day effortlessly! A bright, summer’s day circled the terrace as the early morning ceremony set the scene for an intimate moment shared between closest family and friends. The view overlooked the water and historic Bridge of Lions, creating a movie worthy scene of romance and bliss. Chris’ bubbly and hilarious personality shined through as he carried Brittany back up the aisle after their “I do’s”.

The reception exposed a rich historic heritage that laced the wedding with a depth of meaning and wonder. Table décor was kept simple, complete with glass vases filled with sand and an elegant single English garden rose. The couples love for the beach was also highlighted through their beachy decorations that were scattered throughout the room. A magnificent stand out point for guests, was the unique balcony above the Matanzas River that captured the suns light flawlessly.

When asked what the most memorable part of their day was, the couple described the moment they cut their wedding cake. Although Chris had warned Brittany prior to their big day NOT to make a mess by smearing it on his face, that’s exactly what she did! With a sneaky grin and revenge in his eyes, Chris grabbed Brittany by the arm and ran an entire piece of cake all over her face! Thankfully although Brittany suffered some minor makeup malfunctions it made for some great wedding memories!

Later Brittany told Wedded Wonderland, “The most unique part of our wedding was our entry to the ceremony. Chris is a police officer, so as we entered and everyone was cheering, he grabbed my hands and handcuffed me to walk me in.”
