Paul proposed to Sivan on a surprise trip to a vineyard in Los Olivos, California, where he mimicked a standard ‘The Bachelor’ date.
Sivan told Wedded Wonderland, “When he pulled out a red rose after a cheesy speech like they do on the show, he said he wasn’t going to give me the rose (rude!!), but instead “this ring” and pulled it out of his pocket. I honestly thought it was a joke because the ring was so beautiful and sparkly, and I totally blanked out when he asked me to marry him! When I didn’t answer (out of shock) he had to ask me again! I was overcome with emotions and instantly began crying.” So sweet, we love this proposal story!
Sivan was the epitome of a beautiful bohemian bride, wearing an exquisite, lace gown by the incredible Galia Lahav, complemented with natural, loose waves and soft makeup. Her edgy bridesmaids stood by her side in patterned, vibrant blue dresses, with lace up crisscross busts and the perfect touch of ruffle.
The couple married in an intimate and equally breath-taking beach ceremony in Greece, with the natural setting of the ocean as their backdrop. Their beach wedding reception was elegant and simple, with beautiful white peonies and romantic candles as the main décor. All the guests enjoyed tasty food, plenty of champagne and danced until the next morning!
