Maria and Issam met at their wedding venue workplace, where Issam is the owner and Maria the PR manager … And who would’ve thought just a short while later they’d be marrying each-other in their workplace!
Issam’s proposal to Maria was so beautiful and unique … The day started with the couple house hunting for the perfect home, starting off with one of the most beautiful houses Maria had ever laid her eyes upon. “He kept telling me it was only up for lease and probably wouldn’t work out for us. We then went to the master bedroom and he knelt on his knees holding a small house and a key telling me it is our house and proposed, I started crying with disbelief.”
Fast-forward to the couple’s extravagant wedding day, held at the Chateau Rweiss, where the lavish ceremony was adorned in abundance of white florals and lush greenery. Reflecting on the moment she walked down the aisle, Maria told Wedded Wonderland “My entrance to the church was very emotional, I could not believe the suppliers had created something that magical. From the moment I stepped out of the car and stood in front of the doors, tears started pouring down my face and I ran down the aisle straight into the arms of my future husband waiting at the altar, bringing tears to the eyes of all the guests.” What a beautiful and emotional moment!
The romantic reception was adorned in 250 chandeliers, suspended ballerinas dancing in the night sky, floral galore and a magnificent cake, a festive buffet, a dazzling display of fireworks and wild entertainment which had the guests partying until sunrise!
Reflecting on their special day, the couple told Wedded Wonderland one of the most heart-warming and memorable moments from the night was paying homage to the groom’s father, by creating an emotional movie displaying all his efforts in building the castle that they were now marrying in.
