Real Wedding: An Elegant and Sophisticated Wedding

Emma and Jamie’s gorgeously elegant and sophisticated wedding was a perfect take on modern styling in combination with the beauty of the sunshine coast Brisbane.

Jamie’s proposal was nothing short of romantic. Whilst holidaying at a beautiful resort in the Yasawa Islands Fiji, he had arranged a private dinner at sunset where he surprised Emma with a proposal.

Their wedding carried the very same romance with a beautiful ceremony held at Brisbane Botanical Gardens. Surrounded by lush greenery and bright pinks they said “I do” amongst their closest family and friends. The ceremony was followed by a reception at the Blackbird Event and Function centre overlooking what Emma describes as ‘divine’ Brisbane River and Storey Bridge.

The reception was decorated with the loveliest white flowers and greenery hanging downwards towards the tables. The greenery was balanced with wooden accents and hints of copper. “The room looked breathtaking with masses of candles, white flowers & green foliage. Great speeches & the talented band Sex & Chocolate providing a night of amazing entertainment”.

For Emma the most heart warming moment was when her Grandfather gave his speech on behalf of both himself and his late wife. And the funniest moment was watching all the guests having all sorts of fun at the custom photo stand.

Emma wore a sleek lace custom Pallas Haute Couture dress, form-fitted to her body with a slight mermaid tail. Perfectly complementing the sophisticated and elegant theme of their wedding.
