Amy and Carl’s journey to the altar began in none other than the city of love – Paris, after spending the day sight-seeing at Versailles together. “We were relaxing in our beautiful apartment overlooking the Eiffel Tower, enjoying some champagne, when Carl surprised me with a gorgeous diamond ring in the bottom of my glass. It was the most magical day,” Amy told Wedded Wonderland.
Fast-forward to their Special Day which began with a beautiful church ceremony where love and happiness was felt by all. The celebrations continued into the night with a stunning reception at Customs House, a spectacular heritage listed venue featuring magnificent architecture with a stunning backdrop of the Brisbane River. Romantic lighting, velvet draping, crystal glassware, gold accents and hundreds upon hundreds of florals created a divine space for the couple and their guests to party the night away.
“We finished the night with our spectacular sparkler send off with all our guests cheering us goodbye, a close to an incredible day. Our day was perfect to us.”
