There are events that entertain, and there are events that change the way you think about your work. The Wedded World 2026 VIP Masterclass with Preston Bailey, held on May 27 at Crown Sydney, was firmly the latter.
Hosted by Wedded Wonderland and Wedded Wonderland Network, the evening brought together wedding planners and designers from across Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and China, making for a room full of accomplished professionals who had not gathered just to be inspired.

Before a single word was spoken, the room had already made a statement.
Planning and styling by global design expert Nadia Duran set the tone from arrival. Florals by Melissa D Cruz Floral provided lush, all-white arrangements, while furniture by Harbourside Decorators and drapery by The Drapery Co. created an atmosphere that felt both sophisticated and intimate.
Signage by Letters by Loulou and stationery by Edgehouse Design brought detail to every touchpoint, and a cake by Cakes by Adam stood as a centrepiece in its own right.
MC Terence Nguyen guided the day with warmth, while entertainment from Cirkus Bizurkus and Fernando Barraza Creative added moments of wonder throughout.
AV and sound by Encore APAC ensured every word landed with clarity, and VIP gifting by Personalised Favours, packaged by New Directions, gave guests something to carry home alongside everything they had absorbed. The evening opened with Wedded Wonderland founder Wendy El-Khoury welcoming the room, setting the tone with the warmth and intention that has always defined Wedded Wonderland, and reminding everyone present just how special an opportunity like this truly was.
