Dinner is a seasonal menu from local growers, and later the party moves down to Turbine, a speakeasy-style bar in the basement. The next day starts slowly at the picnic tables by the woodfired pizza oven in the Herb Garden.

Can we shorten the notice period to marry in Victoria?
Yes, in limited cases. You apply to a prescribed authority, such as a Victorian magistrates court or the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages Victoria, using the set form. Accepted reasons include travel or employment commitments, wedding arrangements, medical reasons and an error in giving notice, and all evidence must go in with the application.
Is Melbourne easy for overseas wedding guests to reach?
Yes. Non-stop flights from Los Angeles take about 16 hours, and from Dubai about 13 hours. Guests from London fly with one stop through Singapore or Dubai, and Australian guests can fly in from Sydney in about 1.5 hours. We line up the road transfers to the estate around the main arrival times.
Are children welcome at a Trawool Valley wedding?
Yes. The Trawool Estate welcomes families, with cots and roll-out beds available and 7 motel-style Valley Rooms that give families and groups more space. Between events, children and adults can use the solar-heated pool and the multi-sports court, or walk and ride the Great Victorian Rail Trail that runs past the property.
Is there room for a band and dance floor at The Trawool Estate?
Yes. Wild Water, the estate's restaurant and reception space, seats 120 with room for a dance floor and a band or DJ, and its floor-to-ceiling windows look across the Trawool Valley. The Anglesey Room also takes a sit-down reception with a dance floor, and the Dome Room, under a stained-glass dome of 4,500 pieces, suits 20 to 30 guests.
What does a bush ceremony look like in country Victoria?
At The Trawool Estate, you say your vows among gum trees and bush gardens on the historic grounds, with views over the National Trust-listed Trawool Valley and the Goulburn Ranges behind you. The estate's events team looks after the ceremony and the reception, and dinner uses local suppliers and produce from the estate's own vegetable patch.
