A New Micro Wedding Service is Available To Couples

A New Micro Wedding Service is Available To Couples

Love is in the air at the NSW Registry of Births Deaths and Marriages (BDM) where nine new marriage celebrants have been appointed to help couples tie the knot through the Registry’s new micro wedding service.

NSW Registrar Amanda Ianna said the new celebrants will be available to help couples through all the legal formalities while ensuring their wedding is personalised, inclusive and affordable.

“The new Registry-appointed celebrants are experienced professionals who will help ensure the wedding goes smoothly, with all requirements – from ceremony to certificate – carefully managed” Ms Ianna said.

“These new celebrants come from diverse backgrounds and skillsets and are passionate about uniquely reflecting the life and love of the people being celebrated.”

One of the newly appointed celebrants is former Triple J radio announcer Rosie Beaton who has been working as an independent celebrant for more than six years. Ms Beaton said she was looking forward to offering a personalised wedding service through the Registry as each couple is different in what they want in their ceremony.

“Weddings are fun and a day of joy, it’s also important the style of the ceremony matches couple’s personalities,” Ms Beaton said.
“I have definitely noticed a trend emerging over the past year for a more intimate celebration, with a smaller guest list and a focus on keeping things simple.

“BDM caters really well to this market and it is an exciting time to join the team. We have evolved our services from ceremonies only to also include micro-weddings, giving our customers access to elegant, inclusive, affordable, easy-to-organise weddings,” Ms Ianna said.

“Organising your wedding through the Registry couldn’t be easier and it helps take the stress out of this important day. Couples can book a ceremony, with all official requirements taken care of, with options to suit all couples ensuring their wedding is inclusive and truly memorable.”

Through the new Registry wedding service, couples can order a beautiful commemorative certificate, or book a micro-wedding experience at a range of special event venues, options include booking a reception package, floral bouquet, lapel buttonhole or a photography package.

A new list of exciting special event venues offering micro-wedding packages will be announced shortly for July weddings onwards.
