Nadeen was set to embark on a business journey to Milan, Italy, but decided to seize the opportunity for an early escape to the picturesque landscapes of Lake Como and Venice. Unknown to her, Jimmy had a delightful surprise up his sleeve, announcing his plans to join her on this Italian adventure. Together, they mapped out a series of explorations across Lake Como’s charming villages and awe-inspiring vistas. 

On a serene morning, with the calm waters mirroring the tranquil skies, Jimmy and Nadeen embarked on a boat cruise through the region’s enchanting waterscapes. The tranquility of being among the early risers on the water created a harmonious backdrop to what was to unfold. Oblivious to Jimmy’s intentions, Nadeen suggested a brief halt in front of the iconic Villa del Balbianello for a snapshot—a moment poised to become a milestone in their journey.

Seizing the moment, Jimmy turned a simple photo stop into a pivotal chapter of their love story. With a gesture for the driver to capture the moment, he knelt, ring in hand, and the words “Will you marry me?” transformed the serene setting into an emotional tableau. Nadeen’s tears of joy punctuated the air, encapsulating a memory etched in time, a testament to love’s enduring charm.

The Wedding Venue

Choosing Lebanon for their wedding was a nod to their ethnic roots and an opportunity to showcase the splendor of their homeland to friends and family from around the globe. Domaine De Zekrit, a castle nestled 350 meters above sea level, offered a world-class venue that perfectly encapsulated their dream of an outdoor summer wedding. Its historical significance, combined with stunning views of the coastline and valleys, made it a fairy tale setting for their vows.

The Brides’ Wedding Gown

Nadeen’s gown, designed by the talented Walid Chehab, was the epitome of a fairy tale come to life. Adorned with crystals, exquisite lace, and pearls, the dress shimmered in hues of pink and silver, embodying the essence of a modern-day princess. The choice of fabric and design not only complemented Nadeen’s elegance but also mirrored the grandeur of their majestic venue.

The Wedding Theme

The wedding theme, bold and vibrant like the city of Beirut, was a testament to Lebanon’s endless beauty and the couple’s desire to bring a fantasy wedding to life.

From the traditional white flower-adorned gazebo at the vow exchange to the bold ombré flowers that decorated the reception, every detail was meticulously planned to reflect the lively spirit of Beirut.

The inclusion of fireworks throughout the celebration, especially during their grand entrance and the after-party, added a magical touch, lighting up the Lebanese sky in honor of their union.

Cultural elements were woven into the fabric of their celebration, starting with a surprise zaffe at the Beirut International Airport, welcoming them back from Nadeen’s bachelorette in Cyprus. The wedding itself was a vibrant celebration of Lebanese culture, with performances by Al Walid Al Hallani and traditional dabke music, inviting guests to partake in the joyous dance of their heritage.

Nadeen and Jimmy’s wedding was more than just a union of two souls; it was a celebration of love, culture, and heritage that left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate to be part of it.
