The Influencer Wedding Recap: Six Weddings We’re Still Thinking About

The Influencer Wedding Recap: Six Weddings We’re Still Thinking About

There is something about an influencer wedding that makes the internet collectively stop scrolling. Maybe it is the dress, maybe it is the venue, or maybe it is the fact that someone whose outfits we have been saving for months has suddenly entered their full bridal era. Whatever the reason, 2026 has already given us plenty to talk about.

From Hamptons courthouse chic to Italian fairytale weddings and two very different celebrations in Manila, these are the influencer weddings that have been all over our feeds this year.

From intimate courthouse ceremonies to destination weddings that looked pulled straight from a fashion editorial, six influencer weddings have particularly caught our attention this year, each with its own distinct point of view. Some brides went deliberately unconventional, others leaned all the way into romance, while a few proved that you can absolutely have more than one wedding if that is what makes sense for your story.

Here is our recap of the influencer weddings that had us zooming in, saving posts, and, naturally, reconsidering our own wedding mood boards.

Halley Kate and Reed Williams

Halley Kate may have called it a trip to the courthouse, but her wedding look suggested anything but casual.

The New York-based influencer married longtime partner Reed Williams in a Hamptons courthouse ceremony in July, sharing glimpses of the day across Instagram. The couple kept the setting intimate, with their five dachshunds making appearances throughout the celebrations, but Kate's outfit was decidedly maximalist.

She wore a vintage Dior ball gown covered in layers of tulle and floral detailing, paired with a wide-brimmed hat that gave the entire look a slightly eccentric, very fashion-girl finish. Her dogs even got in on the visual coordination, appearing in videos alongside floral details that echoed the flowers on her dress.

The courthouse wedding was particularly fitting for Kate because she had previously been open about not wanting a traditional wedding. Rather than following a familiar bridal formula simply because it was expected, she chose a celebration that felt more aligned with her own relationship to weddings and attention.

In other words, she said courthouse, then showed up in vintage Dior. We respect the commitment to the bit.

Brigette Pheloung and Mitch McHale

If you have been following Acquired Style, Brigette Pheloung's wedding was essentially a masterclass in polished East Coast romance.

Pheloung and Mitch McHale held their second wedding ceremony in Newport, Rhode Island, on August 8, following a legal ceremony at Saint Joseph's University, where they first met almost nine years ago. The Newport celebration took place outdoors overlooking the water, surrounded by arrangements of white roses, hydrangeas, and other florals.

For the main event, Pheloung wore a Vera Wang gown featuring a dramatic drop waist, full ballgown skirt, and oversized rose detail at the waist. She paired the dress with a teardrop diamond necklace and old-Hollywood waves, creating a look that felt glamorous without becoming overly precious.

Her identical twin sister Danielle also brought her own fashion moment to the celebration as maid of honor, wearing a dramatic black drop-waist gown. Because apparently even the bridal party needed to understand the assignment.

What makes this wedding particularly sweet is that the couple's story was woven through both celebrations. Their legal ceremony took place at their alma mater, while their Newport wedding gave them the opportunity to celebrate with a larger group of loved ones.

Shay Sullivan and Casey Johnson

Shay Sullivan and Casey Johnson took the destination wedding route, exchanging vows at Castello Di Celsa, a 13th-century villa outside Siena, Italy, on July 14.

With only 47 close friends and family members in attendance, the wedding was intimate in guest count but anything but restrained visually. Sullivan described the celebration as a reflection of her romantic side, with pink details and feminine touches appearing throughout the historic setting. Ancient villa steps were draped in pink fabric and decorated with flowers, giving the surroundings an almost cinematic quality.

Sullivan wore a heavily embellished Kim Kassas gown, complete with sparkling details across the bodice, while her hair was styled into an elegant sweeping updo. Perhaps one of the most relatable details from the day was that she did her own makeup, admitting that she was nervous about it but ultimately loved the experience.

The wedding also reflected Sullivan and Johnson's relationship rather than simply following a predetermined bridal checklist. From the intimate guest list to the romantic styling, the entire celebration seemed designed around the couple's idea of what their wedding should feel like.

And yes, she was still writing her vows just 15 minutes before walking down the aisle. Somewhere, every last-minute bride just felt seen.

Paige Lorenze and Tommy Paul

Paige Lorenze and tennis player Tommy Paul brought their wedding to Old Westbury Gardens on Long Island in July, creating a celebration that felt polished, romantic, and distinctly American.

The couple married on July 14, just over a year after their beachside engagement, with Lorenze telling Vogue that she wanted the wedding to feel connected to who they were and where their story began.

For the ceremony, Lorenze chose Carolina Herrera, staying true to her desire to wear an American fashion house. Paul wore a custom double-breasted Burberry suit, and both described the ceremony as an unexpectedly emotional moment.

But Lorenze was not about to let one dress carry the entire day. After the ceremony, she changed into another custom Carolina Herrera look featuring an open back and oversized bow, before switching into a Wiederhoeft minidress for the after-party.

The result was a wedding wardrobe with actual range, moving from classic bridal elegance to something more playful once the dancing began.

She also made it clear that she wanted the wedding to feel like a genuinely fun gathering, rather than an obligation-filled social event. Her guest list was intentionally curated around people she actually wanted to spend time with, which might be one of the most useful wedding-planning philosophies of the year.

Leonie Hanne and Alexander Galievsky

Fashion influencer Leonie Hanne took the destination wedding concept somewhere particularly glamorous with her celebration at Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.

The historic villa on the French Riviera provided the setting for an outdoor ceremony filled with lush white flowers, while Hanne walked down the aisle in a custom Dolce & Gabbana haute couture gown. Her lace dress was finished with a long embroidered veil, and her bridesmaids helped carry the dramatic train as she made her entrance.

Among the guests was Emily in Paris star Ashley Park, adding another fashion-world connection to an already extremely photogenic occasion.

The French Riviera ceremony was actually not the couple's first wedding-related milestone. Hanne and Galievsky had already legally registered their marriage in London in late May, where Hanne wore a sleek silk dress from Ukrainian label Milla Nova.

It was essentially the ultimate lesson in having a civil ceremony and a larger celebration without making either one feel like an afterthought.

Angelique Manto and David Guison

Then there is Angelique Manto and David Guison, who may have taken the concept of an influencer wedding recap and completely rewritten the rules.

The couple married twice in three days, first with an intimate ceremony at Sine Pop in Cubao on May 19, followed by a larger church wedding and reception on May 22. Their celebrations became a continuation of Manto's "Anti-Bride Diaries," which documented her decision to step away from conventional bridal expectations.

The first ceremony embraced Sine Pop's industrial architecture, with concrete walls transformed by sculptural white florals. Manto wore a couture Jaggy Glarino gown with a draped neckline, gathered bodice, and sheer lace skirt, while Guison wore a highly structured black ensemble by Russell Villafuerte.

Three days later, the couple shifted gears completely for their church wedding. Manto wore an embellished Cheetah Rivera gown covered in silver beadwork, paired with a dramatic veil and statement jewelry. Guison wore a crystal-detailed black look by Vin Orias, bringing the same fashion-forward energy to the groom's wardrobe.

The reception at Whitespace Manila continued the visual story with dark wood, minimalist florals, layered desserts, and a distinctly modern atmosphere. For the after-party, Manto changed into a sparkling two-piece by Neric Beltran, while Guison coordinated in an embellished black-and-white look.

It was unconventional, highly styled, and very much their own, which is exactly what made it work.

The Details May Change, But Personality Never Goes Out of Style

If these weddings have anything in common, it is not that they have invented a new way to get married. Couples have been personalizing their weddings for generations, choosing venues with meaning, wearing dresses that feel like them, incorporating family traditions, skipping customs they never cared for and finding little ways to make the celebration their own.

What makes these weddings interesting is the way that personality comes through so clearly. Halley Kate's vintage Dior courthouse look, Brigette Pheloung's Newport glamour, Shay Sullivan's romantic Italian setting, Paige Lorenze's polished Americana, Leonie Hanne's fashion-world fantasy and Angelique Manto and David Guison's deliberately unconventional celebrations all tell very different stories because the couples behind them made very different choices.

And perhaps that is the more interesting takeaway. These influencers are not necessarily setting the rules for what weddings should look like, nor are their celebrations proof that there is a new formula to follow. If anything, their weddings are a reminder that the most compelling celebrations tend to have a point of view.

Fashion, venues and wedding aesthetics will always move in cycles, but personality has never really gone out of style. A wedding becomes memorable when you can look at it and understand something about the people getting married, whether that comes through a vintage gown, a favourite city, an unconventional reception, a family tradition or simply a decision to do things differently.

So take the dress inspiration, save the venue, screenshot the flowers and add that reception look to your mood board. Just remember that the best part to borrow from these weddings is not necessarily the aesthetic. It is the confidence to make choices that feel like your own.
