The Sposa Group – who are leaders in the bridal industry – have launched their Melbourne boutique with their signature range of luxury labels and gowns to suit every bride.
The Sposa Group are the largest stockists of Demetrios, Cosmobella, and Platinum by Demetrios, and after a successful 6 years in Sydney, the group have opened their second Australian location in Hawthorn, Victoria.
We spoke to Madina George, the Director of Sposa’s Australian boutiques, at the launch of the Melbourne store, where she described the Melbourne offering as a place which “caters for every bride.”
“Whether it’s gowns for brides who want to wear sandals on the beach, or a bride who wants a 3-metre-long train, we have something for everyone.”
The boutique stocks a range of gowns, with price points ranging from $1,500 for ready-to-wear dresses to $12,000 for demi-couture gowns.
For brides looking for a simpler option, Madina describes their affordable line as “elegant simplicity,” featuring low illusion backs, intricate lacework on the shoulders of the dresses, and light beading throughout the gowns. The collection is characterised by softer skirts and lighter fabrics, making it perfect for brides seeking a relaxed look.
The two-level Melbourne boutique is styled in a way to provide the utmost comfort for brides shopping for their dream dress, featuring large, gorgeous mirrors, spacious fitting rooms, racks and racks of gowns, and even a private upstairs space for brides who prefer a one-on-one experience.
The Sposa Group’s Melbourne boutique is also the first of their Australian boutiques to offer alterations in store, so that brides can find their dress and have it tailored to their body for the perfect fit, all without having to source help elsewhere.
