Its bold shape and size align with the popular cocktail ring trend where designs typically have thicker bands and chunky stones. In this case, Wilson’s ring appears to have a sleeker band, giving it a more refined and timeless appeal. The floral cluster was also a nice touch that matched the singer’s penchant for statement-making pieces.

Wilson has long joked about waiting for their engagement. In an interview with CMT, she said, “No pressure, brother! No pressure. I might have to propose to him. We waiting!” She also quipped about wanting a massive ring in the “Country Heat Weekly” podcast: “I don’t care what shape it is, but I want to be walking with a limp.”

As a cheeky nod, Wilson’s Instagram post also features a video of her “limping” only to flash her ring at the end of the clip.

Wilson and Hodges have been together since 2021. The couple made their relationship public in 2023 at the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards. Hodges is said to have been very supportive of Wilson’s career. She mentions to PEOPLE that he is one of her “biggest cheerleaders and champions.”
