Australian song-bird, Kylie Minogue has never been married. Despite decades of headlines and speculation, the "Padam Padam" singer has remained single on paper her entire life, and she's made it clear more than once that she's completely at peace with that.
The confusion traces back to 2016, when Kylie began dating British actor Joshua Sasse after the pair met on the set of his show Galavant. The couple got engaged that same year, and rather than rushing to the altar, they publicly pledged to hold off on marrying until same-sex marriage was legalised in Australia, even fronting a campaign around it at that year's ARIA Awards. They'd spoken about wanting a wedding in Melbourne, which is likely what fuelled years of "secret wedding" gossip that still circulates today.
That wedding never happened. In February 2017, Kylie confirmed the pair had ended their engagement, sharing a reflective note on Instagram thanking fans for their support and wishing Josh well as they went their separate ways. Reports at the time pointed to suspicions of infidelity during the filming of Sasse's show in Canada as a factor in the split. Sasse went on to marry someone else in 2018, in an intimate ceremony in Byron Bay, and the couple have since had two children.

Kylie has since been candid that the whole engagement chapter was something of an experiment rather than a lifelong goal. She's explained that she never grew up dreaming of a traditional wedding, that it simply wasn't something her upbringing pushed her toward, and that after giving the idea a real shot with the engagement, she landed back on her original view, marriage isn't for her. She has said she'd only reconsider it loosely inspired by her own Neighbours character's on-screen wedding, and even then, only if it were done a particular way.
She went on to date GQ creative director Paul Solomons for several years, splitting from him at the start of 2023, and has more recently spoken about actively choosing to stay single rather than settle, saying she's become far pickier about who she lets in, with narcissists topping her list of dealbreakers.
So: no wedding, no secret husband, and no plans to change that. Just an icon who tried the traditional path once, decided it wasn't for her, and hasn't looked back.
