Kylie Minogue Admits “I Don’t Think Marriage Is For Me” After Split

Our girl Kylie (Minogue, not Jenner) hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to men.

Having split from her ex-fiancé, actor Joshua Sasse, Kylie told Red Magazine that she couldn’t envision herself being a bride.

“I never thought I would get married. Just going through ‘being engaged’ seems like an experiment, because I’d never as a girl or in all my life had a vision of getting married.”

She then went on to say “I don’t think marriage is for me.”

Kylie and Joshua announced their engagement in February 2016 before revealing they had broken it off in February 2017. Since the end of their relationship, the singer told Red, “You can’t negotiate the downfall of your relationship carefully. I did have to rebuild myself, physically and mentally a bit. But no, 2017 was a great year. I knew where I stood. I knew what work I had to do and I did it.

“I fully understand that now so I hope that for all of my trials and tribulations that people, particularly women, can be inspired.”

The best part of Kylie’s interview? “Don’t feel sorry for me, I’m good.”

Kylie had previously spoken of the breakdown of their relationship in an interview with The Sunday Times, admitting she had suffered a nervous breakdown and had to take time to “heal” in Thailand.

“I just wanted to stop. I knew I needed to heal my… my physical system was compromised. I think it’s called a nervous breakdown.”

Since then, Kylie has remained opened to love, “I love romance and I love to feel in love or be in love … Will it work? Probably won’t work. Might work. I’ll give it a try.”

We hope for the best for Queen Kylie. If you need us, we’ll be listening to Fever – arguably her best album – on repeat.
