JASMINA AND NOAH’S BREATH-TAKING CROATIAN WEDDING

Having lived in Australia for the majority of their lives Jasmina and Noah were no strangers to travelling to South-East Asia, and decided to spend Christmas in the Philippines; a country that neither of them had previously visited. After a romantic dinner earlier in the evening at a restaurant by the ocean, with a local band playing some tunes in the background,  Noah suggested they take a walk on the sand and as they reached the rocks signifying the end of their walk, Noah decided that was the perfect time to propose to the love of his life. “It was a complete surprise and my response was an instant yes,” Jasmina told Wedded Wonderland. And so the wedding planning began!

Having both been born in Bosnia, the couple decided to hold their stunning destination wedding in Dubrovnik, Croatia, as they had fallen in love with the idea of incorporating their Balkan heritage into their wedding day. The elegant the reception and ceremony was held at the Fort Lovrijenac; a dreamy and dramatic venue located on a 37-metre high sea cliff.

Reflecting back on their special day Noah told Wedded Wonderland, “Seeing Jasmina walk down the aisle with her dad was one of the most beautiful things I will ever see.”

When asked about any complications they faced in planning their wedding, the couple told Wedded Wonderland,  “Reaching our venue, the Fort , involves climbing 200 stairs, given the logistical challenges of transporting heavy equipment and decorations up the stairs, we were somewhat limited in the quantity of decorations we could utilise. However, the fort’s beauty and unsurpassed views of the old town more than compensated for this, and were far more dramatic and aesthetically appealing than any decorations we could have brought.” We couldn’t agree more!

Enjoy this dreamy wedding, Fairies!
