Jaime Jacquez Jr. recently popped the question to longtime girlfriend Dominique “Domi” Ruotolo in Los Angeles, California, surrounded by an abundance of white florals and sweeping natural scenery. Ruotolo shared a series of romantic images from the engagement, giving followers a first look at the moment she said yes.
In the proposal photos, Jaquez can be seen down on one knee as Ruotolo reacts with her hands near her face. The couple appeared to have chosen a beautifully styled outdoor setting, with lush white floral arrangements framing the stone terrace and rolling hills creating a cinematic backdrop.
And, of course, there was the ring.
Ruotolo's engagement ring is delicate but distinctive, featuring a marquise-cut diamond set horizontally across a slim band.

While the engagement itself was intimate, the setting certainly gave it a sense of occasion.

The couple's engagement comes just a few years after they first crossed paths in New York City on the night Jaquez was drafted into the NBA in June 2023.
Jaquez went on to begin his NBA career with the Miami Heat, while Ruotolo built her own career as a model and former track athlete. Their relationship has since unfolded away from much of the spotlight, making the engagement announcement an especially sweet glimpse into their life together.
Now, the draft night that marked the beginning of Jaquez's professional basketball career has another milestone attached to it: the relationship that began around that chapter has now led to a proposal.
And if these first engagement photos are anything to go by, the next chapter is looking pretty beautiful.
