Your plan sets how many couples you can have active at once. Archived couples do not count towards the limit, so a finished wedding frees a slot without deleting anything.
No. A couple you add is a record on your roster that you plan on behalf of — there is no invitation for them to accept and no software for them to learn. Adding a couple, including their contact email, never sends them an email.
