Ah, the first Monday in May… What joy that brings us! After seeing everyone’s red carpet looks, it would be rude not to delve deeper into America’s most watched family. Yes, the Kardashian/Jenner clan.

For the first time EVER, all five personalities graced us at the Met Gala this year, and what a show they put on. Here is everything you need to know about each and every one of their Met Gala looks…
Kris Jenner
The most famous mother in pop culture has walked the red carpet. Kris Jenner, the momma bear of the Kardashian-Jenner family, wore an Oscar de la Renta gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewels at the 2022 Met Gala. Kris’s silky yellow gown, crisp white gloves, and vintage hair pay homage to previous generations of American design.
Kylie Jenner
Making her return to the Met Gala after skipping last years, Kylie went all in with a white ensemble by none other than Off-White. The Met Gala was her first official appearance since giving birth to her baby boy in March. She donned a white, voluptuous tulle ballgown and accessorised with a backwards baseball cap with a mesh veil. The Off-White ensemble is a sporty, and bridal, take on the gilded glamour theme.
Kendall Jenner
The power of an all black look is never to be undermined. Something miss Kendall Jenner definitely knows. Prada provided the model with a black transparent netted crop and a complete black skirt, train and everything, which she wore to this years Met Gala. The skirt was adorned with flower appliqués on the crop and ruffled pleating on the skirt. But what’s the most powerful part of the fashion statement? Jenner’s bleached brows, which gave the whole thing a neo-gothic feel.
Khloe Kardashian
Khloé has gotten her justice! The Kardashian attended the Met Gala for the first time at this years Met, after years of admiring her sisters’ outfits from the comfort of her own home. At the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the 37-year-old Good American designer donned a sparkling gold Moschino gown with matching gold sunglasses, black gloves, and a black shawl. And what a perfect Met debut that was!
Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker travelled back to New York City after their Italian holiday for their first Met Gala together. The duo, who are always in punk-rock, put their own touch on the night’s Gilded Glamour theme. The two donned Thom Browne matching outfits. Kourtney wore a cropped button-up with a white bow that was undone and a deconstructed skirt, matching her beau.
Kim Kardashian
Kim has never scrimped on effort when it comes to planning her looks for the Met. We’ve seen it all from floral gowns, to physic defying corsets. She’s had a fair share of hits and misses but this years look might just be the best. Her sister Kourtney revealed that she needed to be dressed in a “special room,” so that kind of ticked us off that she was going to channel someone VERY important.
Kim Kardashian wore the Jean Louis dress that the actress and American icon Marilyn Monroe wore to sing ‘Happy birthday’ to President John F. Kennedy in 1962. To fit into this stunning dress, Kim had to lose 16 pounds to wear it to the Met. Now that’s determination and dedication. It feels like the ultimate tribute, given Kim’s perch in the pop-culture milieu, which frequently draws comparisons to Monroe’s.
