On November 8, Chinese-Vietnamese actress Christy Chung married her groom, Golden Zhang Lunshuo in a lavish wedding held at Beijing’s Nuo Hotel – the best bit? It was mermaid-themed!
The entire venue was transformed into an underwater kingdom complete with a blue castle, mermaid wedding cake and starfish – even Jack Sparrow made an appearance!
The wedding theme was a throwback to the 1994 rom-com that Christy starred in – Mermaid Got Married.
The stunning bride wore four wedding dresses throughout the celebrations, including a blue mermaid skirt for her photoshoot. She also made her groom don a matching blue mermaid tail.
Her traditional red Chinese wedding gown took 2,200 hours to hand embroider.
