A leading Australian fashion designer, Bianca Spender presents a curated collection of 15 bespoke bridal gowns and six bridesmaid dresses.
Taking inspiration from her renowned archive collections, she reimagines some of her iconic best-selling designs in a range of high-quality silk and satin crepe fabrics. Brides and their squads alike are set to enjoy a range of romantic trains, longline silhouettes and vivacious volume. The collection is 18-months in the making, with important considerations having been made around sustainable design methods and ensuring romance is embodied at every turn.
Brides and bridesmaids are free to browse the entire collection of gowns online, with the bridal collection made exclusively available through the Bianca Spender Boutique in Double Bay. Alongside this location, the bridesmaid dresses are also available in limited numbers at the Mosman and High Street stores.
Brand Founder and Creative Director, Bianca Spender is personally measuring, tailoring and hand-fitting each bride who walks through her doors. Her collection is consciously made with the customer in mind, with the bridal styles starting from AU$4,000 and bridesmaid gowns ranging from AU$600-$800.
“In terms of creating a level of luxury suited to a bride, the colour palette and fabrics were pivotal. Each of the fabrics are the most luxurious in their texture, hue and tone. We wanted to bring an element of modernity and also present an offering of non-white bridal gowns and tailoring. The opulence of each design is not in its application through traditional embellishments, but through the integration of drape and deep consideration of the form. That is a very different concept for the bridal category”, Bianca Spender, Founder and Creative Director of Bianca Spender.
When we asked Spender what her hopes were for the future of this collection, she tells Wedded Wonderland, “The Bridal Collection has been a labour of love. We have been listening to our community for many years, who have requested Bianca Spender create a bridal range and for the past 18-months, we have been working to bring this to dream to life. I hope the collection with deepen the connection we have with our community by being an integral part of their special day.”
