From Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor to Rashmika Mandanna & Vijay Deverakonda: Meet the Photographer Behind India’s Most Iconic Celebrity Weddings

Some photographers document a wedding. Others capture the atmosphere around it, the pauses, the texture, the feeling that lingers after the day is over. That is what makes House On The Clouds so compelling.

The photography brand has become one of the most closely watched names in luxury and celebrity wedding photography, with a portfolio that includes Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor, Kiara Advani-Sidharth Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra-Raghav Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari-Siddharth, Pulkit Samrat-Kriti Kharbanda, Sobhita-Nagachaitanya, Pratik Babber-Priya Banerjee, Athiya Shetty-KL Rahul, Alanna Panday-Ivor, and, most recently, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda.

But for all the scale and star power attached to those names, what the brand is really known for is something quieter: emotion, restraint, and an instinct for intimacy. And when it came to Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding, that instinct was everywhere.

Inside Rashmika and Vijay’s Wedding, Through the Eyes of House On The Clouds

For an exclusive conversation with Wedded Wonderland, Siddharth Sharma, Founder and Director of House On The Clouds, reflected specifically on photographing Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s wedding, one of the most talked-about celebrity weddings in recent memory. And interestingly, what he describes is not spectacle, but softness.

“The energy was more intimate than people might expect,” he shares. “Beyond the scale and attention, what stayed with us were the quieter, in-between moments.”

That is perhaps the most surprising thing about celebrity weddings from the outside: people expect grandeur, performance, and perfectly controlled imagery. But Siddharth’s reflection on Rashmika and Vijay’s day suggests something far more human.

“Behind the scenes, it felt less like a spectacle and more like two people completely present with each other,” he says.

And honestly, that is the kind of detail readers want to know.

Why Rashmika Mandanna & Vijay Deverakonda’s Wedding Felt Different

What made this wedding stand out, according to Siddharth, was not one dramatic scene or one oversized visual moment. It was the emotional consistency of the day.

“There wasn’t just one moment, but a series of small, quiet interactions that felt incredibly personal,” he explains. “It’s often in the in-between, the way they look at each other, how they pause, how comfortable they are in silence.”

And in Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding, Siddharth suggests that this ease, this familiarity, was what defined them most as a couple. Not performance. Just presence.

The Visual Language of Restraint

In the age of hyper-produced wedding content, it is refreshing to hear a photographer talk about restraint as the defining visual signature of a celebrity wedding.

For Siddharth, that was exactly what made Rashmika and Vijay’s celebration so memorable.

“From a visual perspective, it was the restraint that stood out,” he says. “Nothing felt overly constructed; there was a quiet elegance to the way everything came together.”

That is such an interesting distinction, especially in the luxury space, where “more” is often mistaken for “better.”

What House On The Clouds seems to understand, deeply, is that elegance often lives in what is not overdone. In light, space, pacing, and the freedom to let a moment breathe.

“The simplicity allowed the moments to breathe, and that’s what made the visuals feel lasting,” Siddharth adds.

The One Frame That Says Everything

Every great wedding story has one image that seems to hold the entire emotional arc of the day.

For Siddharth, when he thinks of Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding, it is not an obvious portrait or a dramatic setup. It is a quieter frame: the two of them walking away together after the ceremony, seen from behind.

“The rituals are done, the blessings received, and there’s a sense of calm, of something settling into place,” he says. “It feels less like the end of a ceremony and more like the beginning of something.”

That is a beautiful way to describe a wedding photograph, and perhaps an even better way to describe what House On The Clouds does so well.

What House On The Clouds Actually Stands For

Beyond the celebrity client list, the brand itself has a distinct emotional point of view.

“At its core, House On The Clouds is less a company and more a way of seeing,” Siddharth says. “What the brand stands for is honesty over spectacle.”

That philosophy feels especially relevant in weddings today, where content can so easily tip into performance. House On The Clouds is not chasing perfection, he says, they are chasing stories. The unsaid things. The awkward silences. The glance no one else notices.

And perhaps that is why their images resonate the way they do. They feel less like polished documentation and more like memory.
