Lake Como has a habit of making weddings look like cinema, but Alesso and Erin Michelle Cummins had another reason for choosing the Italian destination for theirs. It was here, two years earlier, that the Swedish DJ proposed to the model. On July 11, 2026, they returned to celebrate their marriage in the very place where the next chapter of their relationship began.
And they dressed accordingly.
Both bride and groom wore custom Dolce & Gabbana for the occasion, bringing a distinctly Italian fashion moment to an already very Italian setting. Erin chose a romantic white gown with a dramatic lace train, while Alesso stepped away from traditional black tie in a white tuxedo.

Add Lake Como, a guest list filled with EDM royalty, and what appears to have been a very good party, and suddenly the destination wedding mood board has a few new additions.
The location wasn't simply beautiful. It was personal.
Alesso, whose real name is Alessandro Lindblad, proposed to Erin in Lake Como in 2024 after the couple had been dating for several years. Returning to the destination for their Italian wedding brought their story neatly back to where their engagement began.
The couple later shared photographs from the celebration, with Alesso confirming that they exchanged promises on July 11 surrounded by the people closest to them.

Lake Como hardly needs another argument for its status as one of the world's most coveted wedding destinations. The combination of historic villas, mountains, manicured gardens and that unmistakable blue water has made it a favourite among couples looking for old-world grandeur without sacrificing the holiday element of a destination wedding.

For Alesso and Erin, though, the setting had something even the best venue brochure can't manufacture: history of their own.

Then there was the dress.
Erin walked down the aisle in a custom Dolce & Gabbana wedding gown, an appropriately Italian choice for the occasion.

Her bridal look balanced drama with romance, featuring a voluminous white silhouette and an intricate lace train that extended behind her as she made her way through the ceremony. Rather than overwhelming the setting, the gown felt perfectly calibrated to it. Lake Como can handle a little drama.
Dolce & Gabbana's long-standing relationship with Italian glamour made the house a natural fit for a wedding surrounded by historic architecture and lush scenery.
The result was bridal fashion that didn't merely photograph beautifully in Italy. It belonged there.

The groom wasn't exactly fading into the background either.
Alesso wore his own custom Dolce & Gabbana look, choosing a white tuxedo for the ceremony. Against Erin's romantic gown, the matching palette gave the couple a beautifully cohesive look without veering into identical territory.
It's also another vote for the white dinner jacket, which has been having quite the year among celebrity grooms.
For an Italian summer wedding, the choice felt particularly right. Crisp, elegant and slightly less expected than the standard black tuxedo, it carried enough formality for Lake Como while still feeling relaxed enough for a destination celebration.
Consider it groom mood-board material.

You don't become one of the world's biggest DJs without assembling a rather impressive wedding dance floor.
The celebration reportedly brought together several familiar names from the electronic music world, including Martin Garrix, Sebastian Ingrosso, Marshmello and Dillon Francis.
After Alesso shared photographs from the wedding, friends from across the industry filled the comments with congratulations. Sebastian Ingrosso called it "the best wedding ever," while Martin Garrix, Dillon Francis and Alex Pall of The Chainsmokers were among those celebrating the newlyweds online.
For a groom whose career has revolved around bringing thousands of people together through music, there is something fitting about having so many longtime friends from that world present for one of his biggest personal milestones.
And we'd imagine choosing the reception playlist came with opinions.

Technically, their Italian celebration may not have been the first time they said "I do."
According to a marriage licence obtained by TMZ, Alesso and Erin legally married in Las Vegas on June 20, several weeks before their Lake Como wedding.
The choice isn't entirely random. Alesso has longstanding ties to Las Vegas through his DJ residencies, making the city another location connected to his life and career.
The couple did not initially publicly confirm the Vegas reports, instead saving their own announcement for their Italian celebration.

It's easy to understand why couples keep returning to Lake Como.
The destination manages to be grand without feeling like a resort constructed specifically for weddings. Boats can become wedding transport. Historic villas replace conventional ballrooms. Welcome dinners spill onto terraces, and an entire wedding weekend can unfold around the lake rather than inside a single venue.
For couples considering their own Italian celebration, Wedded Concierge can connect you with exceptional venues, planners and wedding professionals who know how to turn a destination into something personal.
Because the best reason to choose Lake Como isn't simply that everyone already knows it's beautiful. It's finding the corner of it that feels like yours.
Alesso and Erin Michelle Cummins could have chosen almost anywhere for their wedding, but returning to the place where they became engaged made Lake Como more than an impressive backdrop.
The custom Dolce & Gabbana looks made sense there. The gathering of friends and family made sense there. Even the grandeur of the celebration felt grounded by the fact that this was a place already attached to an important moment in their relationship.
That's destination wedding planning at its best. Choose somewhere beautiful, certainly, but give yourself a reason to want to return long after the wedding photographs have been taken.
