Paola and Jin’s timeless wedding was extra special as their little boy was in attendance on their special day – and it all began with a surprise proposal soon after Paola found out she was pregnant.
“Jin proposing to me was probably the most unexpected milestone in my life. Having found out I was pregnant, and planned a civil wedding afterwards, it never occurred to me that a proposal was needed. I was at our condo with my best friend and she wanted to check out the rooftop at sunset. When we reached the top most floor of our condo, I saw that there were candles lit all over the floor with rose petals. I told her “sorry we can’t go in cause I think there will be someone proposing tonight and they locked the place down”. My best friend just stood beside me and did not say a word until I saw Jin dressed in formal attire holding a bouquet of flowers with the view of the skyline and sunset. He knelt down on one knee and pulled out a small box. All I could think of was how happy I was and thankful that my own fairy tale was happening. Jin needed to ask “Will you Marry me?” twice. My answer was obvious, A BIG YES. All I can think of was happiness, excitement, and gratitude. It’s like my life was a photo that was edited in a photoshop software and someone adjusted the brightness, highlights, and colour to maximum.” So sweet!
Fast-forward to their beautiful wedding, held at the Manila Hotel, with an elegant, simple ambience. The colour palette for the night was a combination of ivory of champagne with sparkling chandeliers, crystal palm trees, tasseled ceiling fixtures and floral upholstered chairs adorning the space.
The couple partied the night away with family and friends who had flown from all around the world to celebrate in the love!
