Lauren and Lloyd’s love story is a real life fairytale that every girl dreams about and for Lauren, it came true!
The two used to send cute homemade Valentine’s Day cards to one another when they were both seven years old, however the two moved to opposite sides of the world breaking up the young loves. The two kept in touch over the next four years as pen pals and rekindled their love on a trip to England and finally made the big move to Australia.
Lloyd got down on one knee to propose to his Princess to make her his Queen in the most unexpected way possible. Surrounded by the breath taking scenery at Australia’s North Stradbroke Island, Lloyd planned a romantic picnic by the beach and set up a secret video that captured the moment he asked Lauren to be his wife.
And the couple’s fairytale gets better! Their magical wedding in Bali was everything the two could ever imagine.
The best moment for the couple was the moment where tambourines were handed out to the guests during the reception. While the saxophonist was playing the perfect song, the couple’s guests began to tag away to the beat and just when Lauren thought this fairytale day could get any better, all wedding guests stood up and shook their tambourines and danced to the music.
“I looked to my husband and said “This is my dream come true” Lauren recalls.
