Six years after first meeting at a college social gathering, Christopher popped the question to Karla while on holiday in Peru.
“We had just finished a very difficult hike to the top of Huayna Picchu and were taking some pictures when he suddenly grabbed my face and told me how much he loved me. He then got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him. I was saying yes before he even had a chance to finish. It’s one of the most memorable moments of our relationship.”
With a two-year engagement that followed, the couple had plenty of time to plan the wedding of their dreams. Using Instagram and Pinterest as their guide, Karla and Christopher found the inspiration they needed to create a wedding that was timeless, classy, and elegant. The combination of white decor, lush greenery, and hints of gold, resulted in something truly beautiful.
The day was made all the more special for the couple during their secular ceremony, which allowed them to add personal touches.
“From my sister-in-law officiating the wedding, to my brother reciting a personal reading, and having a singer and pianist play a memorable song, Chris and I made everything so unforgettable.”
