Jawad proposed to Sarah in the most unexpected and beautiful way possible. On a trip to Georgia for the couples’ 5th anniversary, the couple were taking selfies at the top of an abandoned Castle in Sighnaghi and got down on one knee asking Sarah to be his wife.
The wedding theme was based on the groom’s family name, Daou meaning light. The couple’s hashtag, #followthedaous was a hit during the wedding and it was certainly a magical event.
Jawad and Sarah tied the knot at the beautiful Chateau Rweiss and Sarah walked down an aisle adorned with lush greenery and white floral arrangements. The couple said “I do” and exchanged vows underneath a ceiling of green vines and hanging tea light candles encased in delicate glass baubles, giving the ceremony a dreamy ambience.
The selected decor for the couple’s magical day illuminated the light to shine through. Every corner of the reception was filled with different light bulbs, neon signs, structures and candles giving a glowing effect to the venue. The mirrored dance floor was brought to life with the words printed “You make my world light” adding that special touch to the night.
Sarah looked like an absolute vision in a custom Viktor & Rolf off the shoulder princess gown featuring an elaborate textured bodice.
